Filigree Lariat - Gold with Smokey Quartz

This adjustable necklace is so versatile! This lariat is finished with a handmade hook clasp, which links into the chain; allowing it to be worn at various lengths up to approximately 23". (The lower the clasp is linked into the chain, the higher the pendant will sit)

The findings have been handmade with 14 Karat Gold Fill, and the gemstone is a beautiful Smokey Quartz Teardrop.

This design is handmade to order with care in Vancouver, BC. Size and clarity of gemstones may vary slightly as we work with (and adore) natural semi-precious materials.

Please note:  This listing is for the Filigree Lariat in Smokey Quartz only.  It has been shown on the model in the Pink Amethyst version, layered with the Omega Necklace.  Both are sold separately and can be found here:

What is 14 Karat Gold Fill?
Gold Fill is a thick layer of gold bonded to a brass core. It is different than Gold Plated, which is a thin layer of Gold that is plated over a base metal. Plating varies in quality and thickness and isn't always ideal for some designs as it tends to wear off in high-friction areas.
Gold Fill uses a weight-based requirement of gold. The requirement of Gold-Fill is that it contains 5% solid gold of the item's total weight. Due to the bonding method of pressure and heat, this amazing metal can withstand hammering, texturizing, and forming. Though it can naturally darken over time, it can be easily re-polished and with proper care, Gold-Fill can be considered a long-term metal. Because of its cost and durability, Gold Fill is the next best option to solid gold.

How do I care for my necklace and can it be cleaned?
Your necklace can be easily cleaned.  When not being worn, keep your jewellery in an airtight bag or container.  This will help prevent early tarnishing.  If tarnishing does occur, you may use a polishing cloth on the metal, or a pinch of baking soda mixed with water and a soft toothbrush (avoiding the gemstone).  Our complete care instructions can be found here:
