Ring Stacking (3 easy tips for the perfect stack!)

Ring Stacking (3 easy tips for the perfect stack!)
1. Choose your style (fine vs. chunky)
Begin by choosing which style you want. Thin bands are elegant, can be worn in multiples, and tend to be easier to stack as they create a cohesive look without becoming overbearing. Thicker, chunkier styles are great for making a statement, and look best in smaller quantities-- think one bold cocktail ring on your right index finger and one of a similar size on your left middle.

2. Balance
Like any design, it's all about balance. A great way to achieve this is by staggering a midi ring into the mix. This mid-point creates an elongated look, and balances any rings on either side.

(This 14kt Gold Filled Midi Ring is one of our favourites since it doubles as a pinkie ring!)

3. Comfort
When possible, choose rings with adjustable bands. This way you have more options for stacking, and these bands tend to move with your fingers, allowing for more flexibility (warmer weather--or a couple glasses of wine!--can increase your ring size slightly, so you want to make sure your bands can adapt)

(This Filigree Stacking Ring is made up of three individual ring bands which can adjust. It can be worn as the set, or separated across three fingers)

BONUS TIP:

Ring bands get a lot of friction and wear, so make sure you choosing metals that are suitable for your favourite stack! Our favourites are 14 Karat Gold Fill, Rose Gold Fill, and Sterling Silver. You can learn more about Gold Fill here.
