What's a sample sale?
A sample sale is an event hosted by designers to sell samples and prototypes that are no longer in production. Items are sold "as is" at a reduced price. You can find one of a kind pieces, and nearly-new designs deeply discounted. (Insider tip: treat it like a treasure hunt! Sometimes we put items in the sale that we LOVE, but can no longer source the materials OR the item was too costly to put into production)

- Over 300 Leah Yard Designs jewellery items to shop up to 80% OFF (including one of a kind designs)
- A selection of Jessica Redditt Design pieces (sample sale items and exclusive event pricing)

I'm out of town, will there be an online version?
We want to focus on making this in-person event our best yet, which is why we will not be hosting an online version this season. Sign up here so you don't miss any updates.
What kind of discounts will be at the sale?
A sample sale is a chance for designers to clear out past prototypes, samples, and slightly imperfect items from inventory. We will have discounts up to 80% off selected items.
Can I bring a friend?
Yes, you are absolutely welcome to bring guests. We will have enough rosé to go around!
When and where is the event?
The event will be hosted at our LYD studio in Chinatown. The address is: 161 Keefer Street, Unit 201 (right above Bao Bei Restaurant). The event will run from 12pm-5pm on Saturday, October 28th. We recommend coming right at noon for your best chance to find a one of a kind piece!
Is there parking?
The building does not have reserved parking. There is a parkade right down the street at 180 Keefer Street (inside the Chinatown Plaza)
I'm not sure if I can make it, do I need to rsvp?
You do not need to rsvp. Doors will be open from 12pm-5pm. We hope to see you there!
What if I'm not in Vancouver?
We are very grateful to have LYD customers worldwide! We never want you to miss out, which is why we'll be launching more online perks later this season for VIP members ;)
What payments are accepted?
We can accept cash, debit, or credit card in the studio.
Please note: the building is not wheelchair accessible.

About Jessica Redditt Design:
Founder Jessica Redditt is passionate about sustainable practices, down to the very fibre of each piece she designs. Exploring alternative materials and processes is integral to her design practice.

About Jada Cianne Artistry:
Jada is a professional makeup artist and has been working in the beauty and film industry for over 6 years.
With all types of clients in her chair, Jada really wanted to create a lip gloss brand with a shade range that complimented all skin tones. Whether, you need a lip gloss for your day-to-day makeup routine, or a pop of color for a night out, the shades at Jada Cianne Artistry are fit for all types of people, for every kind of need.
In 2021, Jada was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and reflected on how she could make an impact on the beauty industry, and further connect women of all backgrounds. At that moment, Jada Cianne Artistry was born.
Jada Cianne Artistry shades are inspired by Jada's Latin American background and the important women in her life.
